About Matt Reimer

Matt Reimer is a Canadian engineer currently living and working in Vancouver in the software industry. In his spare time Matt enjoys playing his violin, hiking and reading Flemish poetry backwards phonetically to the tune of "American Pie".

Once in a while he will do something he considers to be entertaining, amusing or silly and write about it on his website: MattReimer.com. Mattreimer.com started as Impossibility.org in 1997 in the days where everything published on the internet was deemed cool and exciting by simply existing. After a decade, four new self-taught programming languages, a database and untold lines of code, MattReimer.com has changed only a little in its deadpan delivery of semi-factual Matt-related news to dozens of faithful viewers from all over western Ontario and BC.

In 2007, Matt spent 6 wonderful months in India, working mostly in Bangalore with small weekend tours in and around Karnataka state. This grand adventure culminated in a 3-week adventure all over that magnificent country. Details and blogginations from this magical time can be had HERE. For those with strong constitutions special care was taken to elaborate on all the gastronomical peculiarities of travelling in Asia for the first time.

Note: Despite several eerie similarities it should be noted that Matt Reimer is in no way affiliated or associated with the Matt at "WherethehellisMatt.com" (and wishing won't make it so). He does, however encourage everyone to seek out WherethehellisMatt.com and watch every single video on that site because it is, as he says, "bloody brilliant!"
